not that bad. i bought my wheels the day after I placed my order. week later i ordered the tires. they both sat in my garage until 2 weeks ago when I finally got them mounted. now they wait for me to return so I they can be mounted on the car. so for me it's been about 5 months

i had to wait over 6 months to get tires for wheels on my old car.

it sucks... i covered them up, and almost forgot about them until I could afford the rubber...

sucks about the dent, any pics? sounds pretty bad. Did you go inside and talk to Wal-Mart? On another board that I'm on, a guy was hit by a car in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Wal-Mart has cameras recording on the parking lot at all times. He called the cops, they showed up, got the video from Wal-Mart, showed up to the guys door step and he got nailed for a hit-and-run, along with having to pay for the repairs...

I have 4 brand new tires sitting in the corner of my apartment waiting on a set of 18" Advan's that won't get here from Japan for another 6 weeks at the earliest. Chin up.

omg

Walmart is the worse... shopping carts everywhere. People are soooo lazy to walk about 20 ft to put them away. Park as far away as possible. That's what I am going to do if I need to go there.

OMG +50..... This is the solution. Not to offend ANYONE, but take a look at Walmart, no Ferraris, Porsche's, NO EURO car at all! From my personal experience; tabacco spitting, confederate flag wearing people generally have no respect for a persons car. My car got hit by one of these people AT WALMART. They told me not to get in their way next time It was like no big deal to them as they drove a beater chevy, (with the confed flag waving proudly I may add) Right before I called the police they begged me not too. I called the police with a smile on my face. They later got arrested for hit and run.... Lesson being....shop at discount stores, get discount morales. NOT to offend anyone, there is many on NAM maybe ALL of us, who respect property so take no offense if you love Walmart. And I park at the Very last spot, sideways......Next to the escalads, and lincolns

I find myself having to go to wal-mart about once every few weeks. Lucky for me, our wal-mart has one of those cool parking lots where all the cart corrals are at either end of the parking lanes and the parking lanes are divided by curbed landscapes with trees in them. So I park next to one of the landscaped areas in the middle as far from the cart corrals as I can get, and try to make sure there's a swanky lookin' SUV parked next to the MINI.

The nice thing about driving the MINI is that I can park it super close to the curb and leave a ton of room for the doors of the SUV to open and close without them having a hope of touching my car. I'd rather just not go to wal-mart, but sometimes, I gotta have cherry limeade.

You see a wide variety of vehicles at the Wal-Mart here... from Porsches to Kias.

You can get everything at Wal-Mart, and this one is very nice and clean. But it is the only one I've found to be so nice.

I've been to some freaky Wal-Marts. Mexico-Border Wal-Marts... yikes.

What are you kidding... Oh and only beat up F150's with bitter drivers and gun racks goto Nascar.

The Walmart in Old Bridge NJ near my house typically has Maserati's, MB 500's, and not a few porsches (including some of mine). I have actually seen not just a green Lamborghini but a red F348 & F360 and a yellow F575 Ferrari though not at the same time.

The lesson is pick a corner spot up hill and you should be fine, this is what I do on all my cars regardless of cost or model. This prevents the wind, gravity or stupidity from denting the car. The worst parking lots are actually home depot, there you have to avoid flat tires and not just carts.

parking at wal-mart

I have an easy trick to not get dinged at Wal-Mart (I live in a small town and so one really has to go there). Just park near the garden center and use that entrance. The other upside to this is that that register in the store usually has s shorter line. On a side note, what am I to think of the blue R56 I saw with the Confederate flag side scuttles (wish I had a camera phone)? I guess even the Duke boys have joined the club.

No in a seriousness, Im not knockin Walmart, I simply dont take any good cars or trucks there anymore! I know how bad Pho's got it. I bought wheels and tires from another member, local pickup but I cant put them on because Im waiting on my hub Studs from Texas SPEEDWERKS. And unfortunately I got a dent too I have a very angry neighbor who put a dent the size of a BB below the gas filler. BMWs shop said 750 euros NOT DOLLARS!!!!!. Apparently they gotta paint the whole 1/4 panel and my neighbor refuse's to pay, thats alright Karma's a real MF'r.

No matter where I go these days, I park the farthest from the store/movie theatre/whatever. No guarantees, but definitely decreases the chances of random dings from rogue shopping carts. Or . . . someone who doesn't like the statements on your bumper stickers. (My MINI is stickerless for this reason.)
