How come in the manual it says for the heated windscreen but that is not an option when you order it :-( I love it on my Range Rover and wish it could have been added.
I use mine to drop the price of gas when I pull into the station, hahaha

Uh, well, the heated windscreen thing is included in the Cold Weather Pkg......?
And i WISH I could lower gas prices! I would make SO much money off the big SUVs! And be a very popular girl!
But seriously - has anybody come up with a decal or something? I've heard the panels are hard to get off, and then the plastic cover for the toggle is even harder! I'd be OK with just a funny decal like the OP had suggestions for...
I'm going to try to come up with something on my own for my car and maybe that will spur someone on. It's an opportunity to create a console button empire for crying out loud...
Nice. If I ever need a windshield replacement, I think that I'll take a drive over the border! Does it have that blueish purple tint that you see on the General Motors cars with heated windshields?

Nope - no goofy gold tint that makes you look like you are driving a moon buggy! It uses an entirely different technology: there are tiny little wiggly wires embedded between the two panes of safety glass. They run vertically and cover almost the entire windscreen (except for the extreme right/left edges). In terms of visibility, they are occasionally noticeable - mainly at certain angles when the sun glints off them slightly. I grown used to it though and don't even think about them anymore.
I've attempted to photograph them, but they are elusive little fellows. To give you a sense of scale, those blobs at the top are the black edge shading dots.
