Will DTC be the end of LSD? Poll

DTC is currently standard on the JCW and there is no option of an LSD. My thinking is that mini will eventually kill the LSD in favor of the craptastic electronic version. Since I plan on keeping my WRX for another year and then trading up to a mini. I hope to optional LSD is still alive and kicking.

So here is my question to all of you. How would you react "IF" Mini removes the LSD option in favor of the cheaper version, DTC. Maybe you won't even miss the option.

P.S. How come we can't make simple polls on this board. It would be very beneficial.

Yes, I'd miss it, enough so I'd more likely than not search for an aftermarket solution...

I've read where the LSD makes for an interesting "wiggle" as it deals with torque steer, but the JCW doesn't seem to suffer as much, even with more power.

Is it possible that the DTC is a better option/solution?

It is entirely possible that DTC is a better option than LSD, but I personally like the mechanical widgets doing their thing rather than that electronic devilry. I like the "wiggle" it does when I step on the gas out of the corner, it makes it a better experience to me and gives me the confidence to push it more which I don't think I'd get without it.

I'd personally rather have a mechanical lsd only because i know it will work everytime and if something ever goes wrong, its easily replaced or repaired
