trailer options

Tried searching but couldn't find the right answer. I am looking for a trailer hitch for my R56, but I want one that I can easily remove and install. IE. one that doesnt require removal of rear bumper.

Thanks, Jack.

minidomore.com is a good option (I have it on my R56 and had it on my R50 as well),

it is stealth if that's what you are looking for (check the website), but the installation does require removing the bumper (I payed around 150$ to a shop to install it)

I looked into that option as well, but unfortunately, it requires the removal of rear bumper.....which is inconvenient for me since I need to remove my hitch on site(I autocross)...So thats why I was looking for a easy to install hitch.

Instead of removing the whole hitch.. why not just reach your hand underneath the bumper and remove the receiving bar.. thats all I do with mine.. pull the cotter pin out.. and it looks like there is no hitch at all

That's what I was thinking.... I JUST installed a JCW and though I'll be cursed at, I made a hole in the rear bumper for my hitch.

Sorry for the blue pics....

Hitch capacity

Great Pics!
What is the Mini S (R56) towing capacity? Typically, he towing rating includes the weight of the passengers too. I can't imagine it is very high.

Those tires look heavy - you weren't thinking about putting them on that Mini, were you?
