Transfer settings from one keyfob to anothe

Does anyone know how I can transfer the personalized settings from one keyfob to another?

I was told each fob had to be programmed.

There isn't that much to set up anyway, it's just a pain to read up on and do.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the personal settings like radio stations etc. not programing the key to work with the car.

Thanks!

Check with your dealer. I would think they should have the capapbilities of making a copy.

Before I left with my new MINI, my MA sat me in the seat and went right through all the 'user' settings (Turn Signal, Lighting, Door Locking, etc.) separately for each key fob.

Only problem with doing your own 'programing' is that each 'setting' is covered in a different section of the Owners Manual, or HiFi Manual etc..

Would be nice to see a composite list of all those settings on one page.
