Hello, been a lurker on the forum for quite some time now. My father actually just ordered an 09 Mini Cooper 2 months ago that just went into build this week. He ordered a Mini Cooper S hardtop 6spd Laser blue/ white roof. My father wanted a fun weekend car that was a manual and had seen many Mini Coopers in NYC and really liked them. My father hasnt owned or driven a manual in 36yrs!!! We went to test drive the Mini, he drove it perfectly, said he felt comfortable driving the Mini so he bought it!

We are expecting to take delivery mid october, so ill have some pictures to post then. Just wanted to say hello, been lurking on the forums for the past 2 months or so learning about the Mini, hopefully I can convince my father to attend a few gtgs

Well he certainly got the right car for this!!! Driving MINIs can be addicting...I hope he lets you have the keys on occasion??

 

If you think Daddy is gonna give up the keys after driving it a little while......good luck with that.
