Hi, First post and first question about me new mini. I just tried setting the 3x turn signal settings but the only thing I have available are just these options. SET DATE, SET TIME, HOME, and CHECK INFO. I Dont know how to get out of this menu! I already RTFM.
I think it would help if you read the owner's manual. No, really, read it...
I did read it! That's why I said "already RTFM"
Your problem is that the ignition is not on. Idiot lights, fan etc. have to be going or you can't access the area you are trying to get to.
Now I'm in IT and following manuals/docs are something I do to a literal "T". I place the key fob in and starting go at it before starting the engine and all that was available was what I listed.
So it's resolved by turning the engine on. But reading elsewhere in the manual it was from my understanding that options were not available during an engine start because this would cause "driver interference" where someone shouldn't be programming while in motion or driving, well annnnyywayyys it works, go figure. Thank you for the help and input... This car rocks btw .

Well, as BCG wrote, the Ignition must be on, however if you have key fob inserted and press 'start' button without pressing clutch (or brake for auto) the engine does not start, but you can program (most) menu's, TPM reset might need engine running and you must drive a ways for it to take effect.
For some reasons beyond my comprehension, you do need to start engine in order to setup the 3x turn signal. At least, it did not work other way in my brand new Cooper S... and I could not find that clearly described in the manual either.

You'd think it would be the other way around. I guess I'm not the only one, well at least we cleared it up for others if they do a search.
