Seats -- Calling All Plus-sized Posteriors
I think I want the punch leather seats in my upcoming MCS order... but I don't know what they'll look like after my large frame has stretched that leather out for a year or more.
So, anyone else out there with a plus-sized posterior... I want pictures of your well-used punch leather seats!
Also, I've hear rumors that some seat upgrades have lumbar support. Is that true? Which seats? And is this lumbar support adjustable, or does it push into your back wherever it damn well pleases?

As far as I know, all upgraded seats offer the lumbar adjustment. And it's not just a lump in the lower seat back, it is actually an adjustment. There is a **** on the inside of each seat back for adjusting the support.
I am 6'-4, 275. I have the Tuscan Beige leather and I love it. The stitching is the same as the regular Sport seats in the S models. I'm only on my second month (with about 2,500 miles on the odo), so I can't give you any long-term observations regarding the leather and wear patterns. I can, however, say that the seats still look as they did on day one.
I fully expect that the seats will show some wear over time, and as a larger-than-normal person I am perfectly okay with that prospect. I upgraded the seats for the leather and the lumbar adjustment (commuter car), so I am very happy with the choice I have made.

Cloth and leatherette seats do not have LS's; the upgraded seats do
