Replacement Rear Driver's Side Repeater

Hi Everyone,

Came back to my MINI today to find a scuff by the rear wheel arch side repeater. No note or anything. It's very minor but it'd have been decent of them to leave a note, at least.

Anyways, long story short, the side repeater lens is cracked and I'd like to get it replaced. The wheel arch is fine--does anyone know roughly how much it'd cost me to get the dealer to fix it? I'm betting it's less than my $100 comprehensive deductible.

Or, is there somewhere I can order the lens myself? It looks like a fairly simple fixed. I'm open to replacing all four with smoked or clear lenses.

EDIT: You might know them as marker/position lights as well. To clarify, I mean the red light by the rear wheel arch.

Thanks for any help!

Bump. Anyone? It shouldn't be too expensive, should it?

Guessing here but based on the price of optional side scuttles (~$150-175/pair) plus installation you are looking at more than $100.

Here is a link to a thread on DIY replacement. Looks pretty easy. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...installed.html

www.mossmini.com has them for $9.95; simple replacement job.

Are you talking about the thing on the rear wheel arch?

~25 shipped from morristownmini.com
you can't call you have to do it by email and
fax them a CC number.

Also since then I've found out they give a discount
to NAM members but I have not confirmed that.

Replacement is about 5 mins.

Yeah, the rear wheel arch position marker. :( It's just a cracked reflector (my mum says she would just leave it be) but it still makes me sad to see it.

My MA said if the service department has the part in stock, they might be able to do it on-the-house, but if not I'll give Morris Town an e-mail (wonder if they'll ship to Canada... seems like a small enough part). Thanks!

Piece of cake in to install - unscrew the 5 or so screws in the wheel well - grab a 10mm ratchet (IIRC when I pulled them out to spray tint them) and unscrew the two screws holding them in...unclip and do reverse!
