first aid kit and warning triangle

Ok, I did the search thing about these two items and all the posts were 2003 and 2006. I have a 2009 R56 and would like to have the triangle & first aid kit. I was stationed in Germany three times and thought they were a good idea. Could someone please point me in the right direction to obtain them and their mounting brackets?

You'll have to find someone in the UK to get these from. MINI dealers here in the US can't order any of these parts, not even the brackets alone.

Try NewMINIStuff for the triangle and mounts and Mini Spares for the first aid kit.

I have both and they're nice to have along. I also have the MINI Emergency Kit with safety vest and tow rope. Obviously, you could find cheaper alternatives, but if you gotta have OEM, then you have to go to a source abroad.

I have sourced from both the linked suppliers. Keep in mind that it took a long time--several weeks, if I recall.

Thank you. I think it is odd that U.S. dealers can't get these items, but we are bailing the auto makers out anyway. Heaven forbid that they should have to start making cars here like the mini.

As for me, I'll not be buying another U.S. built car ever.

I bought a couple of these at Sears, they're loaded with great stuff and fit perfectly between the side net and the outer wall of the boot. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02807185000P

Windows that don't go up, hood scoops that melt, engines that chatter, sun roofs that don't open, exhausts that burn.... Uhhh, U.S. auto makers do make cars like Mini...

How does the fact that NA bmw/mini dealers can't get OEM safety kits have anything to do with the bailout of american automotive manufacturers? What the hell are you talking about???
