Holy Cow!!! Driving down a hill this morning, I notice the light is green; about 50 yards later as I'm about to go through the instersection, I notice the car in the left throughlane is stopped...WHAAAHH!!! I peek my head down to be able to see the light fixture and it is now red... OH S H_ _!!! I blow through too late to stop with hand on the horn (I should have hit the horn long and hard to warn folks I wouldn't be stopping in time). Car coming out into the intersection from my right hits his brakes and blows his horn... rightly so. Near miss or near hit, but no contact. Phew

Dude drives by me and gives me the evil eye...rightfully so. Mea culpa, mea culpa. If he only knew I couldn't feel much worse (unless I actually tagged somebody).

Crisis averted. Angel? Karma? Luck? Didn't matter b/c no time is a good time to cause an accident, especially around the holidays. Drive safely out there! Happy Holidays...
