OK..just finished installing the new Alta intercooler...install went good and took it out for a test drive...everything was good...ran it pretty hard and when almost home the check engine light came on and I could only just about idle home...Boost tube all look good...any ideas????
id make sure nothing is leaking... make sure your clamps are on right
edit: keep us posted!
Yep..first thing I checked and everything is tight as can be. What happened after the install is we took it out for a ride and there is a development with roads and no homes, its where we go to play with the cars.
There is a 360 degree large circle...we did the circle at close to wide open, its a pretty big circle maybe 75' in diameter and all was good until about 3 minutes later....going to buy an OBD reader this morning.
Problem solved...seems like it when we were auto X'ing last night we must have been aroung the G limit and raised a wheel off the ground causing the YAW sensor to think the car rolled. Bought a OBDII and erased the problem. The DTC buttin should be on to avoid this...from what the dealer told me. Anyway problem solved.
