Alta Intercooler Install & Pictures
Hey All
Just finished up intsalling the Alta Intercooler. Took about 2 1/2 hours. Pretty easy, with a little triming and patience its an easy job. Biggest issue I had was getting the hoses on all the way.
Here are some pictures
Off with the bumper
Old cooler
Old & New
These little plastic brackets need to be trimmed down to get the intercooler all the way flush to the radiator
I trimmed around the holes where the hoses come thru to get access to the clamps. They dont let you know about these in the instructions but you really need to relive the area to be able to get a good space to tighten up the clamps
Finally installed
All back together and a new M7 Carbon Fiber scoop to finish it off
Overall I don't feel much diffrence below or in the mid range but feel some more pull up top. For $423 its not a bad upgrade. Need to put it in the dyno to see what numbers I am getting.
