R56 Mid-cycle refresh

Mid-cycle refresh
In the MINI’s Future Models Revealed section, noticed it indicated:
"Expect to see changes around the 2010 model year (late 2009) if BMW follows it’s typical cycle. And yes, that means those who have either aero-kit will have a car that will remain relatively fresh for the entire generation."
Is this information still accurate? If so, is it the aero kit from the JCW or likely the MCS aero kit likely to become standard?

Before I purchased my 09 JCW I searched for many weeks to try and get any info on style changes to the Gen 2 and came up with nothing. I have a friend who works for BMW sales division in Germany and his feedback was there were no apparent changes on the table....Can't say that bible, but what I heard.

Shouldn't 2010 be a mid-cycle refresh?

If 2010 is indeed the year for a mid-cycle refresh when does MINI cut over to the new model year? (Sept, Oct?)
From MotoringFile it looks like at least the HiFi system is going back to Harman Kardon due to poor reception of the current offering: http://www.motoringfile.com/2009/05/...comment-260351

Finally, the Harmon/Kardon sound system is now on the option sheets: $750. Really not bad, and also part of the Premium package: $1750. If you like sunroofs, then that is the way to go. That and the Camden and brown package for $5000, which I think is a rediculous charge for Ipod/bluetooth, DTS, ugly wheels, white seat trim (which it is too bad couldn't be ordered separately) HID in black, Camden badges and White silver paint. The actual package is $4500 and then they add $500 for the metallic paint. Boy they do know how to rub it in. Oh well, back to Chili Red & Black.
