....pun intended, haha, well it was my birthday on the 7th and i just turned 20, and as the story goes i had an 07' mini when i was 18 and a half but an unfortunate accident ended that one, and it took about 10 months for me and my car to be reunited by the insurance coverage, i ended up getting a new 08' because the last one was totaled. so i've had my new one for just about 7 months now and i love my Mini, everyone i know knows this. my family especially. they tell me i never shut-up about it. but when my birthday rolls around my sister has a nack for whipping up some amazing cakes and confections. for my 19th she made me a mini themed cake, unfortunatly i didnt have my mini then. but for my 20th she made some amazing Mini Themed cupcakes, cupcakes because we had just gotten back from vacation two days before so she was a little short on time, but none the less they are amazing and i'd like to share them with you my fellow Mini enthusiasts Enjoy! Ps they were so nice i couldnt eat them.... altho later i did end up eating the checkered one which i regret hahahaha.

 

also she made these trick argyle ones because i've recently aquired a taste for it. hahaha.. i look damn good in it too

I've actually been thinking of doing a MINI themed grooms cake when I get married. Not sure what the Mrs. will think, but oh well.

 

I bet they taste good also but they just look too good to eat!

yea my sisters pretty cool, she calls my mini the "evil clown car" but its cool, too bad the minis in the garage, just being on here again makes me miss my car sooooo much, i just wanna drive!!! but i put it away for the winter, i want to keep it for a long time and this kind of new england weather driving wouldnt be good for keeping it in good condition. but thank you everyone for the birthay wishes

 

Making themed car cakes sounds like a terrific busines opportunity for a bakery.

 

The Food Network show, "Ace of Cakes" makes many themed cakes and they even made at least one MINI I've seen. But these MINI cupcakes take the cake!
