Level the well in the boot
I thought I would put this out just in case someone needed an idea for the boot. My dog goes just about everywhere with me so she needed a nice place to lay on the trips. Also, it is nice to have a flat surface when hitting the hardware stores. Hope this helps some out.
I used 1x6's and made a frame. Then glued indoor outdoor carpet leaving no wood showing.
Then I got a nice piece of wood. I rounded the corners with a dremmel. Sanded, Stained, and Sealed.
I also put two small pieces of velcro under the back side of the stained wood so it would stick to the carpet. This way I can lift the wood up like a lid and use the 3 cubbies underneath.
A happy dog.

Cool thanks. Yes, she is a pure Yellow.
Nah, she is so good she doesn't walk around while the car is moving. Also, the sealer left a little grit since I didn't sand it after the sealer so there is a little traction there.
