Need help here! Having trouble making up my mind.

Before I begin I'd like to thank those who contribute to this thread...

I was at the MINI dealer admiring all the lovely MINIs on the showroom floor and then came the realization that I would have to choose a color for my future ride. I had arrived at the dilemma that every prospective MINI owner faces... Which exterior color to choose?!

Decisions, decisions...

I was wondering if anyone has pics of a Horizon Blue/Horizon Blue MCS or JCW Hardtop that they could post?

I am dissapointed that MINI chose not to replace Lightning Blue with a similar dark blue. I wish that they would bring back Space Blue or Indi Blue as those hues were gorgeous!

This discussion (What the h*ll happened to the awesome blue colors?) is covered in depth in another thread so I won't go on... Suffice to say that my "blue" choices are limited.

Of the "blues" offered, HzB is the one that I am reluctantly leaning towards. The dealer had one available (MCS HzB/W) but I really would like to see what an MCS in full HzB regalia would look like. Can anyone please help me out?

I'd go with all Chili Red, add a custom stripe, and perhaps black out the chrome. Don't like any of the MINI blues, so can't help you.

Go to MINIUSA.COM and configure one with the various color options. It's fun and addictive.

You know Robin, I have given that some thought... CR is sweet and a non-metallic color to boot! I fell in love with Oxygen Blue but unfortunately it is an MC color only. I agree with you as I am not really crazy about the current choice of blues for the MINI.

I really wanted a blue MINI and that is why I am in the predicament I'm in. MINI has seen fit to undermine every blue that I have desired (Indi Blue, Space Blue & Hyper Blue, & Lightning Blue etc.) by discontinuing it... I have been a day late & a dollar short it would seem.

I then turned my attention to CR, as it was a non-metallic, which as some NAMers have stated, is easier to maintain than MINIs metallics (i.e. touch-ups) and has a deep vibrant color. It's a nice color and my second choice behind having a blue MINI.

Now, as if this wasn't enough to muddy up the water, there is talk on NAM of a possible color change (addition/deletion) or refresh for the 2010 MINI color selections.

Gads, whats a boy to do?

Thanks DrewN for finding this pic!

I also came across this particular photo but the resolution was poor and the lighting that the photo was taken in was minimal so it was hard to discern if the MCS was all HzB or HzB/B. Don't know how you were able to improve the quality of it so ... Nice job!

Gotta admit that an all HzB Cooper is a rarity!

No offense meant to anyone, but that photo looks like grey primer with clear coat.

I'd say go with HzB all around. I wish they had this color in 08 it might have changed my color choice.
