A guy that parked his bright orange Lamborghini Gallardo next to my MINI just talked to me about how cool MY car was for about 10 minutes. Made my day.

That is overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar from the Spanish side. Thats Morocco on the other side (in the first pic). Also check out my new blacked out beltline...
Sweet photos! Thanks for sharing. I was in Athens in 2008 and saw an MCS with your color combination. Looked great under the beautiful Mediterranean sky! Oh what fun it would to be to motor throughout southern Europe in a Mini.
I have had Skylar parked at home in the garage for 10 days because of business trips and family vacation. It will be a happy motoring experience just to start it up tomorrow night and listen to the burble! I truly cannot wait.
Last weekend we went to a British Car Show! The Mini/MINI owners had a very nice turn out! We almost ran out of room for our row! It was so much fun looking at all of them and seeing what others had done! Lots of MINIs there but no two were alike!! You have to love that!!!

It is a blast driving here!! Im taking Rafa up to Algarve, Portugal on Tuesday for a little two day beach trip w/ the gf, its going to be wonderful. And ten days without you Skylar? I couldn't imagine being away from mine that long! Just make sure you open the garage door when your enjoying your burble or Skylar may KILL you LOL!! Sorry, i have a morbid sense of humor.
I just drove from Buffalo NY to Chicago IL this weekend on one tank of gas! 544 miles!! Average speed of 85 mph. I'm driving back in the morning and planning on getting the same mileage.
Walking away from my MINI with my girlfriend a man honked his car at me, to which my girlfriend said " I think he sees something he likes." ( implying that he was hitting on her ) Then the man rolls his window down and tells me that my car is beautiful.
Thanks. I ordered all the extra parts before i had the car with hopes that it would look good, but i was nervous. After install, the night i got the coop, i thought it looked unique and GREAT. I love it.

Somehow survived (grin), albeit seeing that mini cooper mini was in VA on Skyline drive made it even MORE difficult (our family vacation was just west of that curve laden stretch of road).
Anyway the garage door went up, the car fired right up and I had some great times Sunday. Found about 40 miles of curves and never more than 10 miles from home to make a great circuit around my home area. Twas a nice reunion! Now to get caught up on the bills and lawn and...
Good times in the MINI:
Every time a valet returns it to me they have a smile on their face and some type of comment. Ok, so it's only been twice that a valet has driven it, but still.
Letting a coworker, a huge car fan, drive it for the first time and listening to him rave about how it's the most fun he's had in a car.
and finally, returning from any trip where I didn't have my car, and finding an excuse to take the MINI to the store (always taking the long, fast, and curvy route)!
