They sell the lower half too but the hood is what gets all nicks from road debris. The plastic bumper does a good job of withstanding the nicks by itself.
How much air passes to the radiator. Winter use only?
It doesn't seal the grill area, it's just on the hood.

It's one of those "80s" thing, don't see them much anymore. Just one of those things I can put on, take off, not a permanent thing. I'll use it primarily during my commute to protect my hood.
I like the look, but any worry about the long term damage to your vinyl? You can buff out any issues on your paint, but the moisture sitting in the will surely damage your stripes.
I used to have black bras on all my cars before clear bras came out. They do the job well, but grit does get under the edge and will etch the paint. Also, the paint fades at a different rate. Since they were a pain to put on and take off, they just stayed on all the time, which was ok with my highway commute. And you definitely needed all parts, not just the hood. Those rocks are picky about what they hit. All in all, I'm glad for ClearBra now.
The vinyl bra does give it a retro look.

Reason: .
Yeah if it rains it has to come off or the moisture could damage the paint. The good thing about the stripes is they sit in that lower curve in the hood and don't touch the bra. I'll keep a close eye on it and keep that area highly waxed.
