R56 Alta IC Cold Side Silicone Hose?

Alta IC Cold Side Silicone Hose?
Does anyone know if the Alta IC cold side silicone hose is really functional as far as HP/TRQ goes, or is it just window dressing? Alta's site shows a dyno graph, but it's with both cold and hot tubes. Already have the hot side (M7) and know it works. The OEM tube does look rather contorted compared to the Alta. Would appreciate any advice before buying and removing the OEM tube. Looks like it will be a real bear to take off. Thanks--DW

This topic belongs in the "Modifications" section, but the short answer is no. Check out this thread in the Mods section for more detail: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...eck-yours.html
Alta tubes are all over the place in dimensions and fit. Rubbing issues abound. My experience with the tubes has been one of disappointment. Recommend you pass.

Thanks loads for the the warning . Guess that explains why they're the only one that seems to offer one.
