Coolant leak from the hose underneath...
I just completed my 2nd oil change on my R56 and used some of the tutorials that were written up by the fine gentlemen on this forum. While I was putting the coolant tank aside I felt some wetness between the coolant tank and the rubber hose that connected to it.
Here is the coolant tank:
So there you see the rubber hose that I'm talking about. I have 2 questions that may be dumb: Is it natural for liquid to leak where the rubber hose and the coolant tank connects? It's not a large amount of leak but noticeable enough to feel some wetness. Also, is it natural for the rubber hose to slightly twist around where it's connected or is it supposed to stay TIGHTLY in place?
I'd appreciate any helpful links or comments. I'm quite hesitant to drive my car right now as I have no clue what might happen IF the rubber hose is loose.
