I bought the shirt.... We'll have to see about posting a picture hahaha. European sizes tend to be smaller I fear. So I went BIG. Maybe Snickers will wear it on the passenger seat if it turns out I ordered too large. I can't wait to tell a couple friends that have Mayfairs & Camdens bout that ordering site.
I will post one though... I can't wait!
Thanks Again So much!

My MC Mayfair with 215/45-17 Hankook non-run-flat tires has consistently delivered 33 mpg over its first 2000 miles, whether on country roads or highways. It is lower than what I have seen posted for other justas. The 2010 MCS with 16" wheels and OEM tires that BMW bought back from me used to deliver 30 mpg in the same setting. I was expecting a higher difference in MPGs between the MC and MCS.
I wonder if the large 17" wheels and wider than OEM tires are the reason for my sub-par gas mileage. What do other owners of the MC Mayfair (justas with 17" wheels) get for gas mileage?

How Many Mayfairs/Camdens stateside??
Anybody know how many of these arrived in the US?? Any way to check production numbers?? Curious.
I have a 2010 Hot Chocolate, adding rear bonnet stripes and an upgraded (lots) audio system. Other than that, I love our new Mayfair S. Fun to drive and all the on board goodies I enjoy. Only things I would change are standard temp gauge, a volume indicator (numeric or something) and the ability to turn on/off driving lights independent of the high beam switch.
Little things though.......

The wifey and I picked up our Mayfair "Chewbacca" almost one month ago.... it will be 1 month tomorrow!
(By the way my wife, Jenni, is also a member here on NAM with the screen name "ZombiePants")
The only Mayfair option its missing are the stripes. I don't really mind them missing from the car, but my wife really wants them, so we're going to try to find a set of stripes.
When we bought it, it had around 4,000 miles on it and the dealership told us it was a "Mini executive" car. In the glove box, we found paperwork and information that lead us to believe that it was used at auto shows and Mini promotional tours since it had "Press" information and "North American Vehicle Services" on the documentation which was odd for any 'used' car with super low miles.
Well, while browsing around on YouTube the week after we bought the car, we found a Cars.com video review of this car.... THIS car... OUR car!
We paused the video and saw the key chain up close in one shot and found its the same exact key chain our car came with. The same serial numbers are on it. Also, in the shots where the car is driving on the road where you can see the rear license plate, it matches the NJ plate number in our documentation and on the other key chain on our second key!
SO... if you want to see what our car looks like, watch the video review I linked below! It's actually OUR CAR!!!

Congratulations on your Mayfair! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do mine. One year on and it still puts a smile on my face every time I look at it or step inside. The color combinations are a strike of genius. While I don't particularly care for the stripes on the other Minis (I have ordered my previous one without) I have to say that the Mayfair ones are a great match to the leather seats and bring out the color of the interior significantly.

I have traded in my Mini Cooper Mayfair today at Automaster BMW in Burlington, VT.
www.theautomaster.com
They will soon become a MINI dealer and will sell the car themselves CPO.
It had 15571 miles (built date May 2010) and I have left inside the car the cocomats as well as the dealer-installed Garmin. Wonderful car that I miss already, but I need something larger unfortunately.

Toffee Stripes Question
Hello all. I am a proud owner of a Cooper S Mayfair. It took me awhile to find the one I wanted and believe me I am not disappointed at all. It gets plenty of attention.
I do have a question regarding applying stripes on the bonnet of the Cooper S. Can someone help me with the measurements for placement of the stripes. I am looking for reference marks from the washer jets and the scoop or from any other reference point that one can supply. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had boot (not bonnet) stripes installed to match the front end of the car. They used the same (part number) stripes used on the bonnet and cut off the remainder to fit properly. Dealer should have template for front, my dealer also had one for the rear. Saves you hassle and time plus warranteed.
Toffee stripe part numbers (again for the Bonnet)
Left: 1 51-14-7-281-517 (Decorative Strips)
Right: 1 51-14-7-281-518 (Decorative Strips)
Approx $55 each +/-
The local dealer charged me 120 to install so I didnt mess with, better going to work. I am quite pleased with the look, striping at both ends. Would be nice if painted as opposed to vinyl but thats over $1000 to apply.
Hope that helps! AA

Measurements for front stripes:
Front hood emblem "wing" tip to edge of stripe = 6 3/4"
Washer (top and bottom tip the same measurement) outlet on hood to edge of stripe = 1 3/8"
Top and bottom body color revel = 1/4"
Saw a couple of sets for sale on eBay. Search on Mini Cooper Stripes Mayfair within eBay and you should find them.

just ran into this post....I found a 2010 Mayfair for sale locally in black exterior color. Does anyone know how many were made and is the black really an elusive color when it comes to Mayfair edition? Dealer wants a decent change for it, just want to know if its a decent collector or hard to find version. Many Thanks.

Add me to the list. New here with only a few posts. Posted in hot chocolate group but this is more accurate. When I was looking at the car at first I didn't know what I was looking at and wasn't sure about the color. I love brown though and it took seeing in person to really lock me in. Gorgeous cars, definite head turners.
I might be the only Mayfair in my city which is awesome.
Does anyone (this may have been answered already) know how many were produced?
