Boot box: http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop..._boot_box.html
Here is a pic of the boot box open:
Pet/cargo liner: http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...rea_liner.html
The liner comes with a bag that it fits into once folded up... that fits into the boot box.
Let me know if your need anything else.

Goldilocks,
I have a boot box for sale if you are interested. They retail for around 350. I don't use so I would let it go for $100 plus shipping. PM me if you are interested.

I have the '08 MCS -- which model has the MOST cargo/head space with the back seats folded. Is it the Clubman or the Countryman?
I use a furniture pad to 'line' the back & a hunter's tarp sort of thing that's very durable & washable. Sadie's head is hitting the ceiling now, so I'd like a larger model. Any suggestions for us?

Great thread! Our dogs add so much to our lives, don't they. Here is our terrier mix Finnegan trying out the seat covers that I made for him, The MINI is new and this is my first mod. I have also ordered a dog harness so that I can strap him in so that he will be safer. So far he seems to be happy back there even though he has lost some space now compared to my last car. We also have 2 Cardigan Corgis.

This is our doggy Beau. My wife and I actually run our own dog training and pet sitting company. Beau's owner brought him to us one day because he was VERY aggressive towards men, we put him through our program and when his owner (a single woman) came to pick him up she cried when she saw I had him cuddling in a strange man's lap, she no longer had to worry about Beau wanting to attack or bite men. Fast forward 6 months later and we got a call from her again, she had to move away and could not take Beau with her and asked if he could stay with us awhile and if we could find a great home for him.
We said yes, with full intention of finding a great family for him. We had lost our boxer of 14 years just 3 months prior to Beau coming to live with us, and I didn't think I was ready to have another doggy just yet, but after having him for just 2 weeks, and even though we had 2 families that wanted him, we simply couldn't seem to bear letting him go, so he stayed with us.
That was almost 2 years ago now, and we get comments almost daily about how handsome he is and how well behaved he is
PS - He LOVES riding in the Mini, he is even prepared for the hard cornering my wife and I do while we drive, and he sways with the car
