Watch this video and see what you think. I think someone said there is a little more yellow added to brighten it up. I'm the biggest fan of BRG but my favorite is what's on the WC50 which is non-metallic.

Thanks so much. I ordered this color in the '11 Clubman, sight unseen. I do not love it. Looks like "Emerald City" from the "Wizard of Oz." was hoping for a drab military green. :(

Personally, I hate green cars (booorrriinnnggg), but this green is really nice. It's like no other green out there, has multiple dimensions, and really works on the Clubmans. I think you did well, but that's just my $.02. Congrads on the Clubby though! Which wheels did you get? I hated the Crown Spokes so much so I didn't risk it on the Conicals, but they look pretty nice...wonder if I should've gone more "MINI" with them, although I went 5-star and like them a lot, and mine's in production, soo

Hi Wahoo. I ordered the all season NON run flat 15's. The run flats are a total deal breaker for me. As is the sun roof. Tuff to cool down in LA & Palm Springs. I know Mini up'ed the tint on the sunroof. Have zero interest in it , along with the structural compromise. Ordered the black roof; HK sound; iPod/ Bluetooth; black headlight rings; chrome interior; 6 speed manual; xenons. Nothing else. I will pass on the car if the color's not right for me. Due @the port 9/15. Dealership 9/22.

I happen to love green cars, and have been wanting a BRG MINI S for some time now. I specifically waited for the refresh to happen before ordering.

As for BRG2, I can't seem to figure out what this color really looks like. In the configurator it looks awesome - almost like the WC50 (which I love), but that MINI ad really threw me a curve.

Going to have wait to see some in person.

I had never considered BRG but when i was in the dealership placing the order, i loved the BRGII cars that they had in the showroom. So i went for it. I am now reconsidering because it has been a long time since i have seen the actual cars and i keep seeing the advertisements that do not look right to me. I've got my fingers crossed.... delivery at the end of the year.

To me, in the flesh, it has a brighter emerald hue to it. It's pretty nice.

My 2010 R56 is BRG, and I had a chance to compare it with a BRG2 MINI at the dealership recently. Yes, the new color appears to be a bit lighter... but I noticed also that the metalflake in the new BRG appears to be a finer powder, and not as "sparkly" as the earlier BRG.

At any rate, it looked very nice!

BRG is too dark, IMO, and looks black the majority of the time. I really wanted dark silver, but they got rid of it for 2011 and I went with BRG2 instead. Mine's still at the port, but here's a picture I snapped while at the dealership.

Edit: Oh, and that ad is horrible. I don't know what they were doing with the lighting, but that is not how the car looks in person.
