I ordered a 2011 MCS a couple of weeks ago without the exterior chrome line. I did this on purpose because I didn't like the look of the front brake ducts in chrome (plus the chips that would certainly develop over time from road debris on the chrome).

However, I REALLY like the look of the chrome rim around the rear fog lights. I am wondering if any of you that have 2011 MCS know how easy it would be to switch those lights out with the chrome ones. Perhaps I'll be lucky enough to fine someone on this board that will want to trade me their chrome ones for my blacked out ones? (fat chance for that probably)

I called the Mini dealer and they said it was too early for their catalogs to show pricing on the rear fog lights in chrome. If any of you have a connection that I don't, to order rear chrome fog lights, please let me know. I'd love for someone to indicate for me what those two rear light would cost me in chrome and where/when I could purchase them.

Just in case someone is interested in chrome trim on rear foglights for 2011 models, I finally found the part numbers. Looks like the chrome trim is about $60 each side.

Again, I'm just a new 2011 MCS Owner that wants black brake ducts in the front, and chrome fog lights in the back... Looks like I am good to go.
