It is my understanding that MINI uses the ABS system to control torque steer. The ABS system brakes the wheel so quickly that it is not noticeable. The performance difference is negligible.

As you must surely know, a standard differential gear, as found on most MINIs, transfers power to the side with the least resistance to turning, that is why, if you have one wheel on the ice, that is the one that spins.

So, it is obvious that there would be little or no reduction of power to the road. When the anti-torque steer actuates, the torque is directed, uninterrupted, to the other wheel, keeping the car in a straight line.

I think it is a very elegant solution to a difficult problem.

I finally got the new program put on my MCS...I've been waiting for this for a long time and I noticed couple other members already gotten this...

It took about 2.5 hours..I am not sure if they actually worked on it for 2.5 hours or not...I did notice that they drove about 15 miles

It does work. Turn the wheel and step on the gas...smooth line...you no longer have to fight the steering wheel. Floor it on straight line...it just goes STRAIGHT...you no longer have to hold on tight.

The wheels will spin though...but other than that it just goes where you point it.

This program turned my MCS into a better handling car.

Cost = $128 plus tax
