Runflats
Showing my ignorance here.....
A keep reading post after post about run-flats. IN the thread about 120 Mile commuting, I got the impression that run flats come with the MINI because it has no spare.
I bought mine used and overlooked the idea of a spare. Kinda took it for granted. Daughter has the car today. I need to look through the owner's manual, but I thought I'd ask here too.
Do I have a spare?

The runflats come on any of the wheels that are bigger than 15" because they maybe bolted up to an S at the dealer.
That is the way my Cooper came, runflats on 16" rims (because of the sport package). As stated above, the spare should be outside of the car behind the rear bumper.
I discovered last night looking at the DIS, that I think the spare has a tire pressure monitoring sensor inside of it.

I'll have to go look at my car now! I have 16" with runflats. I do have an air compressor in the boot under the carpet. What a weird set of options.
