Well, no mods for me....

I have a 09 MCS DS/B and had planned on starting to mod it next year. Just found out my fiance is pregnant and my trade off to her for not making me get rid of it was no mods/money put into it. Oh well, i really like the car just the way it is. So do baby seats count as mods?

Hooray!!

I think that is awesome news. In my opinion mods are about personalization right?

Well ain't nothing more personalized than making a baby

Enjoy, Its going to be great.

And unless I missed something, they are not even married yet! Enjoy kids, they get to be more fun when they are "grandkids" since you can hype them up and send them back home (paybacks are a mother)! If you search some of the post here you'll find someone that put Riccarro baby seats in their convertible, looks great and I would say that is a worthwhile mod to make.

Yes baby seats count as mods as long as they are Recaro baby seats.
Also there is a lot of things you can do to mod a MINI and not spend a lot of money. But those are comfort type things. But congrats and baby seats away!!

Congratulations! When the baby grows up a bit, maybe your child will like to help you pick out your mods! My 5 year old is a MINI fanatic and has big ideas that he shares all the time. It is really a lot of fun for us both to talk about all the possibilities . . .

Any mods that you get, or anything else you ever acquire while you are married you always pay for three times.

The price you pay for the item.

The price you tell her you paid for the item.

And the price you pay when she really finds out what you paid for the item.

Best wishes!

( for the above thanks to GL )

I'd still suggest a mod of at least an oil catch can on the PCV system. The reasoning being increased service life of the engine (saves money in the long term).

Or you can just have a cool wife who understands guys and cars. Doesn't hurt that her dad is the same way and built her a 67 camaro for her 16th birthday!
