JCW BBK self-install?

Hey Guys, my JCW BBK for my r56 are coming in on monday!!! However the dealership wants 7 hours of labor at $150 each to install them!!! That is way out of my budget. I was planning on installing them myself. Can it be done? Is there any special tools I need? Thanks guys I really appreciate the help.

Seems excessive to me. I had powder coated calipers put on my Vette a couple years ago at a local shop and was charged $200 for all four. Wouldn't think a Mini would be that much more difficult. I would certainly shop around.

Save the hard stuff that requires special tools for your dealer- Brake upgrades are easy!

The trickiest part is bleeding your brakes afterward & you could always have a brake shop flush the fluid for less than $50 if you can't get all of the air out of the lines.

No brakes are easy. The hardest part is the bleeding of the fluid. But if you know anyone that has JCW brakes on an R56 near you ask them to be their the day of install for reference or take pictures so that when something doesn't look right you can figure out what it is. Remember to do front and back brakes with pictures becuase both are different.
