Bentley Manual for 2007+

Does anyone know if they ever published a Bentley manual for the Mini's 2007 and up? I can only find 2002-2006 on Amazon and in the market place.

I added myself to the "notify me when it becomes available" list from the publisher about 3 weeks ago. I am waiting as well.

They are very very expensive to publish and as of yet there really has not been a large demand so they are working on other cars with a higher demand.

In the mean time the best alternative is to subscribe to the BMW/MINI website minitechinfo.com. $30 for 24 hours gives you access to almost everything the dealer has access to including all current service bulletins and repair procedures in the TIS.

You can also buy a copy of the TIS DVD from late 2007 that covers the R56 from ebay for under $40.

is that Oxygen Blue I spy on the cover?! Now I must have it!

Whoooooa. $125? Were the old ones that expensive too?
Should I pre-order to save the $15? Or wait until I have an issue and NEED one and hope that someone has one used for sale cheaper?

The set (2 books) for my BMW was $225.00 7 years ago. So $125 is not bad.

Good question, but I've found manuals in general to be quite expensive. As cars have gotten more complex, so has the documentation. For example, in the shop manual for my '78 MG, the schematic for the entire electrical system fits on one page. When I had an '88 Mitsubishi Montero, there was a second volume just for the electrics - and that was 23 years ago. I hesitate to think what the electrickery section in the MINI manual must look like...

I'd be very surprised if it's an actual book. I'll bet you will have to load Ebahn reader on the PC... (just like the Audi service manual I bought from Bentley...)

In other words, it's an Ebook.

It's a book

Product Details
  • Hardcover: 1058 pages
  • Publisher: Bentley Publishers (September 6, 2011)
  • Language: English
  • ISBN-10: 0837616719
  • ISBN-13: 978-0837616711
BTW - I have the Ebahn cdrom for our 2001 VW Cabrio - I hate it. Even worse than navigating through the BMW TIS program.
