R56 The Official Eclipse Gray Owners Club

I noticed the greenish cast when I was viewing some EG MINIs on the lot prior to ordering mine. I found it a bit concerning at first especially since it was hard for me to visualize it with a contrasting red roof/mirrors. In the end, it was a leap if faith that I'm glad I took.
My wife is thinking we should go EG with white roof which I also like. But inside we wanted the chili red to replace the piano black finish.
The EG colour is very deep, but not too dark like black. Can't wait for delivery day...!

That is going to be a very striking color combination. Will look forward to seeing pics when it finally arrives. Going to be quite an Xmas for you!

And I've got the chili red and chrome interior similar to this one - except I will have the leatherette:

Another new MINI Eclipse Gray owner! I love this color - I too just immediately wanted this color when I first saw her on the lot. And I wouldn't even have considered it based on name - not typically a fan of gray - but it is such a chameleon color - green, gray, brown - it changes so nicely! I love how classic it makes the car look too - more mature for an old guy like me. Love it!
Here she is when I first saw her on the lot... I need some newer driveway shots now!

I have been to Lyles sight like a thousand times to order all that stuff and back out but after seeing yours it's a done deal. Yea I wanna drop mine also I been running around town for a place to get it done one place wanted 700 bucks to install springs and that's me furnishing the springs. So that was over pretty quick. You get the beltline kit from him also? If so was it hard to install? It looks great buddy

My wife was actually looking for a Countryman. We were set to buy one and had every intention of driving home in one when on a whim we saw this in the showroom and fell in love.
I've never been a fan of the white roof but on this combo it just works. Love the painted fenders on this. On other colors and combo's I like the black plastic but on this car it just wouldnt look right.
Aside from the full JCW kit with painted fenders and door sills (dealer installed btw), it also has carbon lounge leather, convenience, cold weather and sport pkgs, HK sound, black headliner, carbon color line, chrome line interior.
Quick newbie question - where can I buy smoked reflectors for the fenders? I dont want to paint them.

After checking out the how-to, it actually sounds pretty simple. Just let me know. Itd be cool to hang out with another Mini guy for awhile. Maybe we can figure out something on my issue.

Sorry bout that, lol. Ive obviously got a job ive gotta do, gatta follow there rules. Doesnt mean i always agree with it. Im glad i know how to do my own stuff, theres no way i could afford to pay labor for alot of stuff. I will though, offer some help if you decide to tackle it yourself. Ive lowered all my cars myself. Ive got no doubt we could do it ourselves in a few hours time. You can just PM me here, or call me at work if you decide you wanna do it.

Hahahahahaha I'm not blaming you I know how business works no worries, I knew it would have set amount of labor. I've asked a few people about your car and haven't heard anything. I would love for you to get it fixed I hate any bad will towards these little suckers. Yea that be cool to get together and get together.

Anyone with double black stripes up the center want to take a better shot? Flybone89 has nice ones with the white outlines though.
Thinking about going this route since I like the idea of "ghosted" stripes but want to see it in a better shot first. Also thinking of doing the side panels in black....we will see.
