How fast

As in How fast will an 07 MCS go in 2nd gear. Going to 1st auotcross in this car Sunday.

Where does the rev limiter hit in RPM's ?

I would put this in the racing section but nobody seems to read that far down.

Can't answer your question but noticed your location - I lived in Long Beach for a bit so I wanted to say, "Hi".

Cool, Guess I will have to steal the car from my wife and try it before Sunday.

Lots of racing down here these days. You should move back, just walked over to Walmart with short sleeves.

It's another snow day here in fabulous Nashvegas. I still have family there and will probably make a trip back next summer. Haven't been in a few years. Hopefully life is getting back to "normal" for everyone since that bio*ch Katrina decided to show her blow skills to the world.

Not exactly sure, I'd guess 50-55mph range? I've done local autocrosses in my R53S, and '09 JCW and never had to shift to 3rd on any of our courses. I guess it would depend a lot on where your's is run. Our local BMWCCA and Porsche clubs use the Houston Police Department's proving grounds. It's a maze of different roadways crammed into about 10 acres, can be run in many different configurations, but the longest straights or accelerating sections are never more than a couple hundred yards.

Spent a little bit with google search and found it to be 62MPH @ 6750. Which I assume is the rev limit.

So now how does the rev limiter work? Ignition interupt or fuel cut off.

I am used to "bop, bop bop" of the ignition, but haven't done too many fuel cut out's Which is sorta like Whaaaa bog bog whaaaaa bog.
