About to hit 6K, what service?
Guys, my Camden has treated me well so far. Had it in at 1500K for oil service but otherwise no problems. I am a little concerned about going another 10k as the car suggests with no service at all.
Any suggestions as to what I should be doing around 6k? Tire rotation? Another oil change?
Oh and where can I get some rubber mats for it, my front floor mats are wrecked from the snow?

I got my rubber mats at the dealer when I picked up my car, but you can probably find them cheaper elsewhere. And with the lovely winter that we're enjoying here in the Midwest (not), the rubber mats have definitely been the best choice.
I'd also suggest rotating your tires. I'd like to do that myself, but am waiting for the temperature to climb out of the basement... it's just too cold to work in my garage right now.
Most of the folks on this forum recommend 5000 to 7500 miles for oil changes, so you should be okay for a while if you changed it at 1500.
Cheers,

I change oil and rotate the tires about every 7,500 - it seems like a good interval for me - it works out to twice a year. So I take off my summer tires, intall the winter set and have fresh oil to carry me thru the cold season. In the spring, I reverse the tire process and have fresh oil for summer trips and track use.
One recommendation - buy your oil and filter from the MINI dealer. The parts are not much more than from the independants, and you'll never have a warranty issue using factory parts.
I paid a lot of money for my car, I can't justify going cheap on parts and lubricants. I also bought my rubber mats from the dealer, I think they're price was competetive, but mostly it was for convenience.....they're only a few miles from my house.

At 1 year you get an oil change - have you had it 1 year yet?
How about WeatherTech if you live in snow country....
Sure work good in my truck for wet snow etc.
