R56 Street Beat H Style Rear Spoiler?

Street Beat H Style Rear Spoiler?
OK, I can see that there are quite a few posts on the JCW rear spoiler, but those things are expensive ($700-$900)! I'm looking for something a bit less pricey but still sporty (no additional wind noise, please). I have a 2007 Cooper Hatchback (R56) non-S. I've looked at the S spoilers, but A) I'm not sure I like them and B) they are pretty expensive as an add-on also ($400-$500) and C) it looks like they may require glue or 2-face tape in addition to the bolts (really? you have to glue it on and it's supposed to help hold your rear end down?).
Has anyone out there tried other spoiler variations that do NOT involve building your own? For example, I'm looking at the "street beat H style" http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Cus...-Style/536240/ that looks promising and comes painted for less than $400.
What success have some of you had with this or similar products? Any big mistakes you've experienced that I can learn from? Thanks in advance.

Thanks...
OK... I bought a bright yellow "S" spoiler from a guy on Craigslist, from his 2009 R56. I'll have it painted this week, bolt it on, and I've got a nice spoiler for $200 ($50 for the spoiler, $150 estimated for the paint job). Since it's a factory Mini spoiler, it does bolt right on. Nice. Thanks for the feedback.
