Just curious....but when you do the electrical tape thing, how does one hide the edges??

And btw, that is the BEST color combo JCW yet....

I believe the edges were just perfectly cut and laid down exactly where the chrome came to a stop. Though maybe you'll get a better answer from someone else.

If I can brave the cold today, I'll let you know how my install went and show some photos.

Well, it is 75 degrees and sunny here in Charleston, SC today, and I just got done washing the MINI. I am changing out some parts on my Laser Blue for black so that I can make a better case for black vinyl checkers on the roof and some bonnet stripes. I figured it would be an awesome day to try it out.

Ok. Let's both do it and post up pix to see who does a better job. I think mine will come out terrible because my bones will be shaking in the cold and the 60mph wind gusts today.

Thanks! Now only to find a way to do the same to the headlight rings...hmmm..

I do not wanna plastidip them, but I suppose that is my only option....
