I apologize if I should have placed this post in the Tire/Wheel forum. Since my question is specific to the 2011 MCS, I guessed that here is the best place.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage when comparing the 16" Rib Spoke, 4 Hole Spoke, or 6-Star Spoke wheel? Of course many choose the one they like the most from appearance but I wondered if there were any advantages or disadvantages of each.

I'm leaning towards the 6-Star Spoke but that is just on appearance.

They are all 16" and i believe 6.5" wide. I have the rib spoke and hate them. Wanted the 4 spoke ones. They might all be the same weight. Offsets seem to be the same as well.

... they are all the same width and offset. They don't have weights listed yet, so that's probably the only really meaningful difference. Unless you're planning to track the car and you're NOT going to get a dedicated track set of wheels, I'd just go by appearance.

 

Automan21: Why do you hate the Rib spoke?

 

^^^^^It just looks cheezy, like they should be on a hyundai or something. The 4 hole spoke looks way cooler to me.
Anyone wana trade lol I only have 600 miles on em.

 

Wait! sorry my error, i have the 6 star twin spoke.
The Rib spoke looks good, i wouldnt have minded if the car came with those.
