2011 Copper has a powerbulge hood.

Surely I am not the only one to notice that the 2011 Cooper has the same hood as the cooper S minus the scoop! So in theory the cooper "slatted" grill will now fit the cooper S without modification....

I care! I've wanted that hood on my Cooper for a long time. It's the same one that comes on the Cooper D and MINI E. That said, I'm not *sure* that the connection points on the bumper are the same for the grill, but I'm with you... someone should DEFINITELY try it, because as of right now, there are people who want the slatted grill on their S that have no good way of doing it, and there are people with the '11 Cooper that have no good way of getting a "JCW-style" grill, and if they're interchangeable, then that kills two birds with one stone.

Hi

Your right with the new bonnets as in the cooper shares it with S (without intake) and cooper D

However yet again they have subtely changed the way the grilles mount i believe so you may struggle to get the slats/JCW grilles to work

That's unfortunate... So you've tried it or compared mounting methods, I guess?

Thanks for your input, btw.
