probably right about the bump stops. thinking back on looking at new 3 series (xi's) i'd see some at the dealership that looked like they had a huge fender gaps and would think WTF - that looks weird - maybe it was the wheels or suspension not "settling" yet. i did not know about the bump stops...
Yeah, if you ever think you may have take delivery w/o the deliver spacers being removed, make sure to look/as about the "shipping spacers" not "bump stops". Bump stops = Normal. Shipping spacer = dealer f'd up.

very nice - both navy nuke and jonny...i like our BRGs because they are all the different takes on the same car.
Are you guys doing anything for paint protection, i.e., clear bra? I think I've decided against against it because of too many cons, plus all the places on the front that still won't be covered (above bra, windshield, leading edge of roof). There is a white MINI parked out near mine in the parking lot at work that's about 6 years old and the clear bra looks bad (scratched, discolored, and very obvious). I know there are other threads on this, just wondering what the new BRGII crowd is doing given this color's tendency to show damage easily...thanks, matt

good work!
i'm curious where everyone's from. i see a couple of NYers (navynuke and skydiverbob), a few cali peeps (captain victor, johnjx5, and myself) and one from NH (1chaos52).
i'm actually a NYer by heart...grew up in bergen county (NJ) and lived in manhattan for a few years too. i'm a recent transplant (last sept) to the left coast. i've lived spent some years in boston (college for 4 years), philly (work for 2.5 yrs), and VA/DC (after law school work for a year).
