New 2011 Owner - will MINI contact me?
Having purchased a new BMW in the past, I am a little surprised that I have not heard a word from MINI regarding my purchase experience (ordered 3/14, delivered 4/30). Is this the norm for MINI? I know when I bought the BMW I was pushed by the salesperson to give the highest possible ratings when the call came, but the MINI salesperson has said nothing.

yeah I find it odd too. I did get a "thank you" note from my MA yesterday. So I can't continue to say I heard "nothing." But, nothing from MINI/BMW. Hmmm...I'm starting to wonder how the customer experience is going to be after the sale...the main reason I swore off American cars FOREVER.
PS like the horizon blue and remember your 1st post with your son.

I think I'm gonna keep it pretty much stock except for that.
As far as not hearing from the dealer, well I've generally always bought used cars and have never expected to hear anything from them!

I got a couple surveys in my email last summer from MINI USA about my purchase. I'm not sure how long after I bought my car I got them though... I'm guessing they want to give you a chance to actually drive it before asking about it. After about 4-6 months I got the adventure kit in the mail from MINI USA. I also got the MINI International magazine (which only comes out twice a year).
I know someone who bought a 2011 in January who also got an Adventure Kit in the mail, so they're still doing it.

You can download PDF of the owners manual.
If you have a loan from MINI then you can pay online in OL.
That's about it as far as useful.
Use your (US only) VIN or production number. (For those who are in production and don't have a VIN yet).
For the finance if you have your MINI loan account number then you can go ahead and register with OL and pay online.
I think when I signed the loan papers I checked paperless billing. I forgot to check another box for something and MINI sent me a letter about it. The letter had my account number on it. I don't remember getting anything else from MINI so if did not get that letter, I would not have gotten the account number which I needed to sign up for the 'paperless' billing. I was about to call the dealer when the letter arrived.
