Brake Service Light Questions

I had a RED BRAKE and RED Car on Jacks light.
I serviced the front pads and sensor, as the front pads looked thinner than rear pads.
Then did the clearing of warning lights, through the reset procedure.

Now I have a YELLOW BRAKE and YELLOW Car on Jacks light!
I cannot get rid of this warning through the procedure.
Can anyone tell me what YELLOW BRAKE and YELLOW Car on Jacks means?

What is the difference between a RED and YELLOW light?

Thanks,
Jeff

Not real sure. Maybe you have tripped the rear sensor as well and computer recognizes it has a new front sensor but the rear sensor still needs replacing?

If you cycle through the service-info menu, you may be able to figure out which service item is still causing a light.

Could it be brake fluid high warning due from pushing the brake cylinders back in?

Each of the sensors is a dual type sensor meaning that when you get to a certain level it sends one signal back to the computer and you will get a yellow light and then after a number of more miles (3-5K) it will trip the second part of the sensor and it will cause a red light.

So what jcauseyfd is most likely the problem.

Edit by the way I got alomost 10K out of a set of pads after the yellow light came on and almost 5K after the red light cam eon so although your backs may look okay they may have tripped the sensor

Turns out, after driving around for a day, the yellow warning cleared itself...
