I know others were asking for some updates on folks that had success on getting the recall completed.
I took my 2013 MCS in for the recall and first service (a couple other items too) and it took a few days but they did it. All is well. Seems the tech did a great job, no new rattles or anthing like that. I'm happy with them. I did notice the mini I test drove had them then the one I got didnt. The dealer told me from day one it would be taken care of.

Dropped my '12 JCW Aero Mini at the dealer today. Mini district rep to see it tomorrow and comment on the lack of paddle shifter and we'll see what happens. For some reason my VIN number is not on the list of cars that were built without the paddles installed. So far no one at selling dealer or Mini customer service (their given title) has been able to comment on this discrepancy.
