Can you navigation?

Hi all, I was wondering I have a 2007 mcs and I don't have the navigation and I was wondering if it is possible to get it? I don't mean the after market stuff like tom tom, I'm talking about the one built into the speedometer? if so how much would it cost?

You're talking a couple thousand, easily. Try searching for it in the bar up on the top right.

Far easier, (and probably cheaper), to sell your car and buy one with nav...

Excuse me... But did you just take the word "navigation" and turn it into a verb?

Yep, cheaper to sell the car and get one wth it. It can be done but for a BIG price.

I CAN HAS NAVIGASHUN?

OK... after a bit of gentle ribbing, I'll concur w/ the opinion above... adding the factory nav is going to be well over $2000, if you can even find all of the parts you need. If it requires a new wiring harness, the labor alone will be outrageous.

If it is a 'must have', I'd recommend selling your MINI and finding a new one w/ Nav factory installed.

IMHO, the factory Nav is a waste of $ and I dislike what it does to the speedo. I am much happier with a quality aftermarket Nav (I prefer Garmin) and a quality mount (I love my R53 dash mount from www.kudausa.com) either on the dash or near the top of the steering wheel (www.Cravenspeed.com and others).

I added a 12v power socket on my dash (like a laptop to power cord connector) so that I don't have dangling cords. It makes it easy to remove the Garmin and have nothing but a little socket in the dash left over.

When I got my 09 MCS, I wantd to add it too -- not because I wanted the navigation (I like my TomTom) but because I LIKE what it does to the speedo! LOL
