R56 Union Jack on Roof?

I see other similarly configured cars like mine on the road from time to time, but usually without the BlackJack options. When I see theirs, it just feels like something's missing. I mine and it hasn't gotten old at all.
In terms of resale value, just remember that it's just vinyl and can be removed if need be.
I personally like the more subtle nature of the BlackJack as opposed to the standard Union Jack, but to each his own. Got for it, knowing you can remove it if feel the need in the future. Cheers.

I have a monochrome US Flag on my Dark Silver 05 JCW with a black roof/sunroof. I like it, and I get positive comments on it all the time. It's been 6 years/70K in the stark NM sun, and it's peeling some now, and I am going to replace it, either the same or a monochrome NM state flag.

I got it from Cooper Flags - back then they made the Black Jack, but not a mono US Flag; however, they were able to make one for me and I had the dealer install it before I ever even saw the car. I haven't had much luck sourcing a replacement from them, so I might go local. I saw one of the sites now offers this flag. I should also correct my earlier statement - the flag covers the sunroof, not the whole roof.

I also had problems with Cooper Flags, called and emailed for ten days and no answers so I had a local do it... Modern Images in San Diego. They did a great job. I wanted a full roof UJ and that's what I got! Sure, it isn't for everyone... but I love the look and the compliments too!
Here's a view looking down on her roof from a hotel in Solvang, CA, where we went to a club event. And of course see my signature. And in five years or so, I plan to pull it and do a whole different theme. But I am going to change the stripes, I want stripes that compliment the flag, with blue in them.
British heritage in our family, as well as for the car...

There's no disputing taste (but here goes anyway)! Personally I think the flag is better suited to the British designed and built classics rather than the German rebrand, even if the cars are manufactured in England. And even so, I don't care for the flags on the old cars. Too flashy for me.
