heated lounge leather

Will a set of heated lounge leather seats from a 2009 MCS plug right into my 2012 MCS?

Off the top of my head I would say no. Do you have seat heater switches on your console by the temp. controls. Would probably have to be a retrofit type of job. Whoops, see you have the cold weather pkg. probably bolt right in. I have to learn to read better. good luck.

I would check the 2012 to make sure it has the wiring harness for that. After 2009 they started leaving out parts of harnesses that were not needed for the build of the car. So if they are not there it would not work.

Just noticed you state you have the Cold Weather Package which should have Heated Seats.

If that is the case then they probably would work but I would also check on the bolt spacing for the seats as that may be a problem with the slight model changes in 2011

The seats aren't anywhere I can check them. They're several states away. I have the leatherette sport seats but I really wanted the lounge leather, but $2000 for seats wasn't in the budget. There's some used ones available out of a crashed 2009 MCS, so I was just seeing if they'd directly bolt in. I'm not sure if I'm willing to take a $600 gamble though. haha. Maybe I'll just wait to see if some become available a little closer to home.

I would think your local Mini Parts Dept could easily answer that question. It should show the seat part numbers of the seats in their documentation and list which year mini they will fit!
