If you're wanting the factory round ****, I'd trade you, but I'm in Fort Worth. We'd have to ship and that sounds like an inconvenience without either one of us having a third **** on hand. If you get a replacement, PM me how much you want for the **** and I may buy it off you.
Any initial thoughts about driving the JCW for the first time?

Oh nice, thanks! I have family in Dallas and am also applying to SMU right now, so its highly likely I'll have to make a trip up there soon. If I'm headed that way I'll try to give you a buzz so we can swap.

Uhhhh, it's FAST? And FUN! :D
This is my first stick ever, so I stalled it a dozen times yesterday, but I think I'm learning quick. It's similar to a motorcycle, but the friction zone of the clutch is a lot wider so I'm still getting used to that (my motorcycle has a WAAAAAY short friction zone, like the slightest pull of the clutch and power is totally disengaged).
What kind of bike do you have? I have a Moto Guzzi V7 Cafe. The reason I love the MINI so much is beacuse it's about the closest thing to two wheels you can get on four wheels.
Personally, I would take bus before I drove an automatic of any kind (DSG, CVT, slush-box). Both are boring as hell, but at least on the bus I can read or fall asleep. As long as I have control of both hands and feet, my bikes and cars will always have clutches.
I had surgery on my right hand a while back and didn't have full use of the fingers for a couple weeks. I could steer well enough with it though so I got pretty good at left-handed shifting!
