Photos of the "MINI Yours Polar Beige Dash" option?

Once again configuring Cooper S Hardtops, I've looked for a photo of this Polar Beige dash option but came up empty. A search for "MINI yours polar beige dash" didn't return anything, although one person had photos of the JCW suede version, which looked great.

Does anyone have this (or the Satellite Grey version) on their MINI and would be willing to take and post a photo? It's pricey, and my dealer doesn't have one in stock to ogle either.

Thanks for any help!

Google Image Search works pretty well for that:

Another Countryman, this one with "Gravity Polar Beige":

And even a NAM post of another Countryman with Polar Beige interior:

...Keep looking through and you'll probably find more.

Thanks, you're right, Google image search is pretty handy, and like you I found quite a few shots of the Polar Beige interior, seats and such.

I was particularly interested in that Mini Yours Polar Beige dash option, however; it adds a charcoal leather dashtop surface, Polar Beige leather knee roll, and I believe a Polar Beige accent strip in leather just above the dash color panels.

I found a couple of shots from the Genena 2011 auto show where they introduced (I believe) the whole "Mini Yours" program. They had a Clubman with a bi-color dash. I'm hoping someone on the forum has ordered this option and can supply a photo from a delivered car, sometimes these car show prototypes/demos aren't quite what they ultimately produce. Here's one photo from that Geneva prototype:

hey just want to give a heads up on the interior color ... my friend has it and by god its a realllly nice looking color interior especially how he has his color way on the outside matches the car perfectly. We notice one huge problem one day. After hurricane Irene he wanted to go out to eat, we both went got caught in the rain, got in his car, and we noticed when we got out that our jeans sort of stained his color interior. He has yet to get it out and it is really noticeable i would ask around and see if this is a common thing or if possibly this is a rare instance ... its a hottttt interior to go with though ... best of luck !!

We have a light beige leather seating in our Mazda CX9 and we have had issues with blue jeans coloring the leather blue. My wife has generally been able to use a leather cleaner or Gel Gloss to clean them. That said, even though I generally prefer lighter colored interiors, I think we will stay away from any lighter leather interior like that again. That's just our experience - of course, YMMV.

I got to see a hardtop with the polar beige dash recently. It's nice, but I was underwhelmed (and disappointed) considering the $1,000 price. The knee roll is covered in leather on the passenger side, but the pieces around the steering column and key slot appear to be the regular polar beige color line; the stitching visible on the passenger side does not carry over on the driver side. The knee roll is not significantly padded beneath the leather. The polar beige leather does run all the way across the car along the underside of the upper dash. The dashtop is covered in dark gray leather, with a separate panel over the airbag on the passenger side. That may be the easiest way to spot a car with the leather dash (MINI Yours or JCW) from the outside, since the standard dash cover is all one piece.

I'm having trouble getting photos embedded here (see the html below), but here's a link to a Picasa album: https://picasaweb.google.com/1042586...eat=directlink

I like the white interiors but over time, quicker than you would think, that all look like crap....beige is in that same categorie.

Just what I was seeking, thanks so much! I see what you mean about those areas left of the speedo. That area around the key / start button woulda been difficult to stitch, so then left of the steering column becomes a "why bother", perhaps, leaving them both unstitched.

It looks about like I'd hoped, now it's just deciding to deal that into my mix of options or not. My general thinking on ones like this, where I'm on the fence, is: if I'd ever want it, how hard would it be aftermarket? So this one: pretty hard, compared to, say, changing to a zoomy exhaust, cooler wheels, stripes or not, etc.

More to ponder. Again, thanks for posting the photos!

Noticed something similar at last week's Houston Auto Show. Fiat had a new Abarth 500 on display with a gorgeous red leather interior. The backseat looked pretty pristine, but both of the front seats (where lots of showgoers had been sitting) were kind of dingy looking like blue and other clothing dyes has rubbed off on them. Don't know if that's worth it in the real world.

Hmmm...maybe word got out. The Abarth at the St Louis auto show was roped off. No touching allowed, just gazing.

Go dark. Light interiors that are this light are prone to marks, no matter how well you care for them.

Tuscan Beige leather, 5 years old. I've jumped in with wet jeans. Not a stain not a mark.

Correction to my earlier post: I happened to be at my dealer this afternoon and they still have the car with the MINI Yours dash. The knee roll pieces on either side of the steering column ARE covered with the polar beige leather, it's just not stitched the way it is on the passenger side.

Nice, but not sure its 1000 bucks nice. Particularly since the passenger airbag is so pronounced.
I have the polar beige interior on my car and haven't had any issues with it. Did have some pants transfer color onto the bolsters one time but it cleaned right off with a good leather cleaner. I'll take it over a dark interior that shows dust any day.
