How to remove R56 Driving Lamps?

We plan on pulling the driving lamps off the car - they were installed from the factory so we are curious to know how hard it is to remove the whole system. Any links or writeups would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just did this middle of last year.
Are you looking to remove the wiring as well that attached to the foot-well module (FRM)?

The lights, brackets and connections are pretty self explanatory; simply unbolt from the front end fascia assembly.
You will need a replacement grill that has not been cut for the backets.

If you're looking to remove the wiring, you will need to make a few cuts to remove connectors as they do not pass through the firewall.
Also, you will need a replacement knee bump guard that doesn't have the light switch.

From someone who is wanting to have those installed, do you mind me asking why you are wanting to remove them?

What are you going to do with the units you remove? I am in need of the front passenger side lamp. I just bought a car and the lady hit a jackrabbit and took the lamp and part of the bumper out.... ouch...

The easiest way is to simply put the plastic covers over them and never turn them on. :D
