Best mods bang for buck?

I have a 2012 MCS and have been looking at hp upgrade mods for a while, and so far it looks like the only thing that is really worth it is a FMIC, and a tune. Am I correct? I see that intake and exhaust might give you a few extra hp, but you're looking at over 1k just for both.

Ive heard that a DP and exhaust may be worth it, but I dont know of anyone's experience with a DP on a 2012, and whether it would pass inspection in Massachusetts as our mod laws are pretty strict.

I dont want to sound like that typical "a-hole" forum guy but there are tons of threads on this ... and best bang for your buck upgrade on this car isnt HP, its the torque arm insert from NM.

just search this and theres tons of people like you asking the same questions just read what we all recommend.

Sorry, but I was talking about for HP/TQ gains, and I cannot be sure that information on a 2012 is the same as other R56 models, as there were changes made from 2011+.

I have searched, and I have posted my conclusion above, I would like someone to verify this for me, and post any experiences that one might have with a 2012 or be able to tell me that this conclusion is true for any r56 model.

if your looking for HP gain look into FMIC or a possible tune... my advice would be suspension but we eachph want different things from our miniis.. if hp is what you want id look into FMIC or anything that giveshp gain... a grille badge adds 20HP check em out enjoy modding your mini and dont get too addicted cause then that bank acct shrinks lol
