As I understand it, WayMotorWorks no longer ships/does business outside of the USA. Something about trouble with scammers making it too much hassle and risk for him. You might want to speak with other vendors and guarantee you have a source for parts before you buy.

We plan to have the car maintained outside of dealer and just order the parts from WMW. I saw the parts list from WMW and its not really that pricey compare to what they charge locally. The Mini dealer here charges 3-4x the cost in parts compared to what WMW is charging. Go figure.

I understand the 2004-2006 MCS are not as electronic dependent as the newer cooper S so our local guys should be able to service them.

Thanks for this... can you recommend of any other vendors ?
i can have my buddy in the US buy the parts for me and have them shipped to me. Thats another method.
I have a paypal account. Wonder if WMW would accept that ?

Brz?

How about the new BRZ? It's not out yet but should be an interesting car.

Thinking about a BRZ myself...

Decided to go with the Mini route. I just love the timeless look of the Mini Cooper.
After the mini, in the future, i would jump into Porsches.
