They powedercoated my lugs, or the BMW dealer that brokered the job supplied me with black ones. I'm not sure because I dropped my car off at the one morning, and the next day it was all ready for me and I never gave two thoughts to it. You might just look for some black replacements. They are out there.
yes they hold on there very well...would be tough to get them off without that little puller tool.
...that locking lug that you have on there may need a different size cap though.

I was in the same situation. I ended up buying those caps and also ordered longer bolts from alta. To my surprise they shipped me black ones, so contact them and see if they have black ones even though on their website show silver ones
Same problem here, dull grey. Considering going to studs and nuts, may install 1/4 to 3/8 spacers to get "the stance", or will prob change-up to the black bolts.
just had a flash. Since my car was delivered new with wheel locks, I still have the 4 studs they removed to install the locks. Well, guess what, these are beautifull black. So the ones on the car have degraded over time. Must be covered under warranty :-D
Back from the dealer. Not covered under Mini warranty. They can sell me new ones, but the parts guy says it's going to be the same after a few years...
The black caps work nicely. Getting new lugs is not going to solve your problem especially if you switch wheels a lot. Get yourself a black paint touch-up pen, easy, cheap, reusable.
